Daniel Raven is an illusionist, mentalist and escape artist.

Born 1989 in Malta, Daniel Raven (Daniel Attard) got addicted to the artform of deception at the tender age of 12. At the age of 16, Daniel met Vanni Pule at Junior College, who introduced him to the Malta Brotherhood of Magicians. Today, Daniel is a full member of the Brotherhood after successfully passing two auditions. At the age of 18, he started performing professionally in the Maltese Islands.

Daniel Raven has performed for kids as young as 3 in private households to high end events featuring poker players in luxury hotels and clubs all over Malta as well as local celebrities like Ira Losco and Debbie Scerri to name a few.

Since Summer 2011, Daniel started training to become an escape artist – succeeding in escaping from a regulation straitjacket in under 2 minutes. He also performed this feat at the KSU Campusfest 2012.

In 2012, Daniel also did consultations on presentational skills, psychological suggestion and sleight of hand. He also performed the role of a magician in a short film being part of a package deal with KPMG.

Daniel Raven has also performed on all major local TV stations namely on shows like Crazebook, TVPM (former resident magician), TVHEMM, Sfera, Sajf Flimkien, One Night Stand, Sibt Familja, Aroma Mattina, Meze and Hadd Ghalik (former resident magician). He has also been interviewed on the local journals KullHadd, Malta Illum, SWAG, eve.com.mt and the Times of Malta section known as The Zone.

In 2014, Daniel moved to Basel in Switzerland and continued performing in the city doing bar gigs together with private, corporate and charity shows including pharma giants Novartis and Roche amongst others. He has also performed in France, England and Germany.

Daniel returned to Malta in 2017, bringing back a wealth of experience. He takes pride in providing the best customer care and treats all his clients like VIPs.

Daniel’s style of magic is quick, baffling, and deceptive. From bending a coin with your own signature on it, to causing surreal predictions on his arm, Daniel Raven will surely blur the line of illusion and reality in your mind.
